One of the thrilling activity to do at Arena Hotels is to wake up early, grab a hearty breakfast and embark on a guided snorkeling excursion to watch the Majestic Whale Shark soar the waters with pride and grace in South Ari atoll, 90 minutes’ speed boat ride away from Maafushi. The guide on board explains in-depth information about the whale shark, highlighting its habitat, its life span, why and how it appears on the surface and the proper etiquette to swim with a whale shark. After the exhilarating swim to keep up with the whale shark, you will be served lunch in ‘Dhigurah’ a local island known for its long beach. This bucket list activity will not reach to an end unless you snorkel at other reefs in the area where you will be able to Giant Manta Rays, Multi colored fishes and unbelievably beautiful underwater flaura and  fauna.
